Booking
On receipt of your completed booking form, detail as to the deposit payment
will be forwarded to you and your booking will be reserved for the period
of one week.
A 25% deposit is required on booking with the remaining
monies payable two calendar months prior to arrival.
Payment
Payment is made in Euros or Pounds Sterling, either by cash payment or electronically transferred
to our
French or English bank account, detail of which is forwarded to you with your booking
confirmation. Late payments will be deemed as a cancellation and therefore
you will forfeit your rights to the booking period without compensation.
Cancellation
More than two months prior to the commencement of your holiday:
Your deposit payment is deemed to be an understanding of your intention to complete all transactions regarding the booking of your holiday at La Carriere. It is therefore deemed that a deposit payment is non refundable.
Within two months prior to the commencement of the booking period:
We understand that in certain circumstances bookings will
have to be cancelled due to situations beyond your control. In such circumstances
refunds may be made depending on the circumstances, though these are
made at the
discretion of the proprietor. Any refunds will be based upon a percentage of your final payment and not include the deposit sum. Damage deposit payments will be refunded in full.
Arrivals and Departures
We require our guests
to arrive no earlier than 16.00 hours on the date of arrival and to vacate
the property no later than 10.00 hours on the date of departure in order
to provide our high level of cleanliness and preparation for our new
arrivals.
Smoking
We
ask our guests that do smoke to be courteous to those that don't, and
keep smoking to a minimum indoors. Smoking is not permitted in bedrooms.
Pets
We
regret that we do not allow pets at La Carriere.
Special provisions
Please
make it known to us prior to your arrival of any special provisions that
we may be able to assist you with. e.g. Cots for infants
Towel Hire / Fan Hire
Both services are provided on a weekly basis, payment for each service is required on arrival in cash.
Damage Deposit
We
aim to make your stay at La Carriere as pleasant and as trouble free
as possible so that you may enjoy your time with us to the full. We understand
that accidents do happen and that items may be damaged or broken during
your stay.
We require a £ 300.00 'Damage Deposit' two months prior to your arrival. This will be banked and cleared immediately to our account. On completion of your holiday, the full amount minus any charges for breakages will be forwarded to you in cheque form no later than 3 days from the date of your departure.
We simply ask that you treat La Carriere
as it was your own property and act accordingly. La Carriere is set in
a very peaceful hamlet and we therefore ask you to remember that we do
have neighbours.
